My DH has one also. Looks great, looks a little formal - totally fetching.

I'm going out to a gala committee lunch in a few minutes and all this talk of kilts made me decide to wear my kilt.

Just curious, which meetings require you to wear a red sport coat? In my Unit, dress is always casual, as long as we have our WBCCI ID badge. If one of us forgets our badge, the penalty is a dollar, contributed to one of the charities the Unit supports. But I've never seen anyone attend a meeting or rally in any kind of sport coat, let alone a red one. And no blue berets in sight, either. Heck, I was a member for almost a year before I even bought one of the berets, and haven't worn it since I bought it, except to try it on for size.

My uniform wearing days are over. I don't suppose I will ever be running for national WBCCI office.

The jackets (Navy and Red) are a nice touch that we use in Region 4 business meetings and at some Int Rally meetings. It's not always convenient but a nice tradition that I like. I can see buy the less than helpful comments by most responders that my opinion about tradition may not be shared widely. It seems like we're loosing some of the personal pride and pride of ownership shared by our predecessors. I'm still working on my approach to making things better as a club.

Look - I'm not gonna lie - I can really rock a kilt
:-)
Is there a kilt/airstream rally somewhere?
:-)
