OK, will the re-written bylaws be on the agenda for approval or whatever the IBT does?

Sounds like the proposed rewritten bylaws ought to be published well in advance of the IBT meeting so everyone has a chance to read them and comment to their region officers who are being asked to approve them.

Otherwise it would be like Congress voting on 2,000 page bills that nobody had a chance to read.

The IBT will not be deciding the revised bylaws so no need to talk to the region officers/presidents yet.

the bylaws are going before the Exec committee,

Don't we all just love how a little information is dribbled out, creating a "stay tuned to this channel" mystique?

Just like the lawsuit..."just wait until you see this!...."

Why don't you folks just wait it out and stop guessing.

One of three things can happen

completely reject the new bylaws

Accept all

Accept with some modifications

If you know the answer to that tell me what stock to buy also.

I, for one, am not guessing, just asking questions, about the process, which are being ignored. How can anything happen, when nothing is on the agenda?

Perhaps Contact HQ, to confirm.

I saw it, I plan on being there for the meeting.

The motion would take some teeth out of the Bylaws Committee and give members a voice and some teeth, so it will most likely be ruled "out of order", if it ever got anywhere.
See Forrest's Motion.

The IBT WILL decide any and all bylaws.

Please read the Constitution and the Bylaws to clear up any confusion.

I think if protocol is to be consistent, then the letter should refer to "Mr. H" of Airstream, Karen K, and Cindy R.

(Rational) We should represent all Members in the club as it was not their fault that Airstream decided not to build class A motor homes. We have many member who are motor home owners who are life time members.

The not recommended but obvious and logical alternative is for current motorhome owners, who want something new, to support Airstream manufacturing by purchasing one of their beautiful new trailers. If it's about Airstreams, it's about Airstreams.

Isn't this what we all do when we find that something we want or need to replace is no longer available? You make a different choice.

It is confounding that members so supposedly loyal to the WBCCI Airstream Club would be so driven to drive some other brand yet retain their membership when no longer owning an Airstream.
