I e-mailed Michele Curley, President of Metro NY Unit "mmcurls at optonline dot net" and have not received a reply to date. I suggest any others also seeking a refund put their requests in writing and send them to the Metro NY Unit President. According to the Pay Pal address on the DW site, MNY has the funds deposited in their treasury. Below is a copy of my request sent on September 9, 2010.

As a supporter and contributor to the WBCCI Lawsuit I was sent a letter from Howie E, on your behalf saying that you thought it was wise to withdraw the suit before it was filed. My intention was to fund outside and legal assistance for Leo G's reinstatement and to hold the Board accountable for deliberate infractions of the Grievance Committee and the WBCCI forum's responsibility in attaching the malicious script put on my IP address.

The reports have been that refunds will be made available. I do not want my money held in escrow as that was not the intended purpose and a delay is without warrant. I joined the effort before you did however now that you are controlling the action I am no longer part of or supportive of the action now or in the future.

My contribution was $100.00. I would like to know when my refund will be processed and if it will be by check or Pay Pal.

First let me say, as someone that waited to send in money for the lawsuit, I don’t really have much of a dog in the fight about trying to get ones money back from the DW legal team.
But I do have a question:
Most money when held in an escrow account is held until a set of terms and conditions are met and then the money is then released from the account to the person/persons of which the money is being held for in the first place.
I’m sure the billing has been completed by the attorney that was working the case and would think the bill should/would have been paid by now fulfilling that obligation or should be shortly.
So, do you or anyone else know the terms and conditions that need to be met to have the money released from escrow back to the people? It would appear that all the terms and condition should/would have been met by now and money released back to the people and not held until next year for terms/conditions that may or may not be known?

I see Howie is back to posting so hopefully he will return to his lawsuit thread with more information for the contributors in particular. There was so much attention to this lawsuit during the campaigning (collection) stages but now this thread seems to have been put to bed with a letter from a previously unknown third party as to finalizing our interests without details or further communication. DW leadership has seemingly exited with no further need to rally its supporters or address the thread. Got kicked to the curb with the ol' thanks for your support and good-bye, no questions being taken at this time...parties not available for comment. I hope we do get an answer to your question Paul. It just seems everyone dispersed and moved on in other directions, uh huh. Leo gone, Bob to the committee, Tim to the Vac, Howie to vacation, me... well I guess I am here. But what about the money? (little nagging voice.)

I realize you may think that by jumping up and down and screaming the loudest something will change.

But your harassment will have no effect, there are about 100 others that don't share your point of view, several of which donated more than yourself.

I don't know what you mean Bob. I have not received an answer to my e-mail or had any response from anyone on any of my questions and I am not jumping up and down screaming and I resent your manner of addressing me. There is nothing inappropriate about my questions or concerns. How many share my feelings or how many more dollars they gave is of no consequence or relevance to the validity of the matter. I answered two questions and one directly posted to me, just what is it you are doing in your posts besides trying to discredit me with claims of harassment? I think you are off topic.
