Thanks NEU!

We want to thank all of you in the NEU for making our first season of Airstreaming so fantastic. Not only were we new Airstream owners, we had never been camping before. From the Alumination Celebration on we have looked forward to each NEU gathering and each time we read about something else one of you is planning we are so tempted to join-in!

Thank you NEU for all that you do!

Jeff, Kristine, Amanda, and Gregory

Thanks for joining our club!

You guys are great fun and your family is a wonderful addition and asset to the WBCCI New England Unit. Got any Airstream owning friends who just might what to join us too?

We are working on that actually and you will be the first to know when they are ready to join!

Last weekend at Danforth Bay we met a woman who lives the next town over from us with an Airstream Land Yacht. She bought it for herself this past June and had just returned from the Airstream factory where she met the president of the WBCCI. He told her to join the WBCCI, Jeff and I told her to join the NEU and not go MAL so I hope she does!

What a great article in the Blue Beret about how to make your unit grow. I first would like to say that even though I'm given credit for the marshmellow picture, my husband really took the picture. I guess its kind of hard to be in the picture and take it at the same time.

I love the way the article is structured. Its focused, concise, and clearly explains how to "rally" people for the occasion. With all of the negative discussion about WBCCI dying or about "the old guard" this is an uplifting viewpoint on what can be done to boost your club including both the young and old in rally festivities.

Thanks everybody for making the NEU so great! And by the way, the article said 33 kids will be begging their parents to go camping again. After March 18th it will be 34.

Kathleen & Jim -- It's so exciting to see our kid numbers growing!! Congratulations!

Renee sent apologies by email that the corrections didn't get in and the article was printed with errors. I was also given credit for one of the photos that I'm in (Doug's the shutterbug in our family), and one of my girls last name was changed in the caption, but it was close enough.

We were really happy to see the unit spotlighted in such a good way in the BB. Just another sign of more and better WBCCI days ahead, I'm sure.

I saw that photo and thought I saw part of you in the upper right-hand section of the photo so I was wondering how you TOOK the picture and was PART of the picture at the same time!

Yeah, it's easy to be a multitasker when you're getting credit for your husband's work too.
