SW Boondocking Rally?

Has the WBCCI ever had a South-West Boondocking tour?

What I'd like to experience is something for 3-6 weeks of traveling around the SW (NM, AZ, NV, UT), seeing the interesting sites in the area while boondocking for 5 days a week, and weekends at a campground to recharge, dump/fill, etc. It would have to be a suitable time of the year, in Spring/Fall.

I don't think the WBCCI has official boondocking rallies any longer. Most people want all the comforts of home. See thread "Wyoming 2016" thread. Ray is trying to put something like this together. Sounds like a great idea to me. Going to have to work on my off grid power system before I would be comfortable doing a trip this involved. I can handle a couple of days then I need to plug in somewhere. Not a fan of generators so looking at solar.

4 corners unit I believe has boondocking rallies. It might be worth while for the OP to contact them directly about this idea. They seem an adventurous bunch and might be interested.

I did a search for "Wyoming 2016" and got back 30 pages of thread listings. I don't think I will sort through them. Can you post a link?

It sounds like the original writer is proposing an informal caravan rather than a rally. There are dry camping rallies if that is what you are calling boon docking.
