I can give you a little info on the number. It would have been first issued around 1971 so it doesn't appear in the early directories I have. I don't have any directories from 1971-1981 but it does appear from 1982-1996 to a couple from Pemberville Ohio. At one point (1984 directory) the address listed is in Alamo Texas.
There were no caravans listed for the couple.

Thanks for the info. Somewhere along the way ownership got moved to Texas. I bought it with Texas plates last renewed in 1997. Maybe the family from Ohio moved to Texas or sold it to someone in Texas.

This number has been reissued several times
1970- A couple from Willimantic CT
1982- A couple from St Clair Shores MI
1988-1994 A couple from Oklawaha FL
1997- A couple from Woodinville WA
2000-2013 A couple from Chesapeake VA/Crawford TX
No caravans listed for any of the above.

It's the number by the door on the name plate.

Some WBCCI information
Hi,
I bought an '69 Overlander a little while ago and I am interested in finding any information of who owned her previously and where she is from, so to speak.
My Belle has WBCCI number 3075 on her and I can not see any other ghost or older numbers under these.
I would love to know anything I can about this trailer and any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi
Hoping you can help us out, we have number 13967 on our 1959 tradewind. When we bought it last week we were told it was single family owned, Mother( original owner) passing it onto son and being titled in Illinois in 1999.....Left to sit under a tree and become a squirrel and mice haven until we rescued her. Hopefully the number identification will us a way to cross check the story!

In the 1973 Directory 16824 was assigned to Roy Osborne from Mitten, GA. Since we do not know when that number was put on that trailer, we can not be sure that Roy owned your trailer.

We have a 1971 caravanner with 5921 ghost number along with wbcci stickers from 1984 & 1985. Would someone be able to look them up? I think it was a Mr Kenyon...

My 1970 appears to have been numbered "5188" first, then
"26810" . I puchased the AS in Texas a few years ago.

8608 in the 1966 directory was assigned to Ernest and Grace Dubry Detroit, Mich and in the 1976 directory they reside in Farmington, Mich. their caravans are listed as 33 Eastern Canada summer 1963, 37 Mexico winter 1964 and 50 Eastern Canada summer 1966.
