Not too much help on these two.Maybe another member with some directories in the 70's would be able to assist you.

1968 directory has a listing for a member with the last name of Rogers but it does not appear in the publication.

How can I find out who the original owner of my 63 Ambassador. The number is 10515 I think. Its burned in and I took a flash pic and thats what it looks like. If it makes any difference the trailer now lives in Texas and I dont have a title yet. Its seems to be a long process so if I can get any information on the owners it will help in my title quest. Thanks in advance.

This number belonged to Herman & Marilyn Landis of Wabash IN and appears in my first directory 1968 and last appears in my 1999 directory.

No caravans listed for this couple.

For WBCCI number 8525, does it show the type of trailer? Surprised at the 1968 appearance in the directory, when the numbers were on a 1972 trailer.

The directory listings do not include the type of trailer. The numbers belong to the members not the trailer. They may have joined the club with an earlier trailer and then acquired the 72. They also may have had multiple trailers and all would have had the same number.

The directories do not show the type of trailer.The numbers are issued to the member and not the trailer.It appears these members where in the club for a period of time and bought a 1972 trailer to replace an earlier model.

"198" is a very low number. Do your records show how Dr. Heide & Sally Davis were assigned this number? Were they long time WBCCI members or officers in the club?
