Looks like it has a pretty good shell, but the interior needs lots of TLC to say the least.

Nice shape for the year, looks like a project tho. Please keep us posted on the progress of the auction. Too far fro me to bid.... That will not hurt the wife's feelings

It does not appear to be a GT.

It did not appear to me either to be a 19' Globe Trotter, so I emailed the auctioneer and asked for the serial number, which is 24DSS0600 / 361. From that I determined it is a 1961 California built 24' Trade Wind double bed model with Land Yacht trim (meaning it is self-contained) built in March 1961. I've notified the auctioneer and expect the description will soon be revised.

Well, we tried. There were no bids recorded.

The advertised starting bid price was $600. I'll bet that if anyone would make a lower offer anywhere within the realm of reason, it would be accepted.
