Great! Where does one find info about the MAL (Member at Large) option?

Member at large was listed alphabetically with the other clubs. I was looking at the top and bottom.

We've considered joinging. What is the benefit of joining the Member at Large Group?

When the Member at Large Group was originally started it looked to be an extra fee to encourage you to join a local club (meaning no benefit at all).

I'm not sure if I was right about that or if it changed or not since then (It's been a couple years since I checked).

If you join a unit (rather than MAL), you know that you can join any unit you want, right? It doesn't have to be in your area of the country. Take your pick!

Benefits are: The unit newsletters to unit members offer getaways, otherwise known as rallies, to neat camping sites within the region on a regular basis.
The rallies lead to friendships, sharing knowledge, opportunity to discuss our beloved Airstreams. This leads to learning lots about trailering systems, camping spots, routes, etc. a closer connection with your Airstream community.

As was mentioned you can join any unit. You can also join several units. In our case we are members of a unit in PA and, because we spend the winters in FL, we are members of a FL unit.

But you definitely want to join the club. We are the international rally here in Lebanon, TN with 800 other AS'er this week and are having a great time.

We planned on going but backed out.
I just retired and we wanted to spend our first summer at our retirement home down the Jersey shore.
Heading out on our first trip with the Watchung Club end of August to Rhinebeck New York.
Looking forward to Fryeberg Maine next year. .
