Partner program

I use Griot's products almost exclusively. You sure can find less expensive products out there, but IMHO none better.

So far, the Michelin "Advantage" is not. I registered and then went to look for dealers - which turn out to be only large commercial facilities - for semi and earthmoving equipment - none for truck tires within 100 miles of Jacksonville, FL.... not an advantage.

Another advantage is for units: A hefty discount on JotForm.

If you are a unit webmaster, there's also a new private group on Facebook under "Airstream Club - Webmaster Support." Some pretty good current discussion on the use of JotForm, too.

Two Peas...sorry you’re having trouble with the Michelin Advantage Program. I’ve sent you a PM and will be glad to help you finding a dealer and purchase tires through the program. It is a great program and Airstream Club members are saving good money. I just bought four new Michelins yesterday. As outlined in the Program description on the Club website, you will be using a Commercial tire dealer in your area. Reach out to me and I’ll give you a hand.

Do the Airstream Club members have access to a list of Airstream-only parks and campgrounds, as discussed in the following recent thread?

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f48...rk-221919.html

Thanks,

I posted this reply in the other thread:

Quote:
The Airstream Club (which is not new, despite its recent “doing business as” name change) publishes a monthly magazine, the Blue Beret, and in the Blue Beret there is a section of the classified ads for Airstream Parks. The November 2020 issue (latest I could dig up) has 10 listings. As it’s part of the classifieds section, I would guess that only those parks that pay for an ad are listed.

The magazine’s digital version is on the website...behind the members-only login.

Join the club! The annual dues are very reasonable and you just may open yourself to a whole new world of Airstream adventures!

Thanks,
The WBCCI/WBAC/Airstream Club website no longer has information about Airstream only parks. I have no idea why this information is no longer included. These parks are a wonderful benefit of Airstream ownership.

My F250 has Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires, which I'd like to replace with the same Michelin tires. However when I look at the tire program it only shows Michelin Agilis model tires suited to delivery vehicles. The dealers in my area are all truck travel plazas thirty miles away. Not sure how this program would benefit me.

Baby Zeppelin, I got a set of Michelin Agilis CrossClimate tires a few weeks ago to replace the factory Firestone Transforce AT’s on our Ram 2500 and love them.

We just returned from a trip to Virginia and hit rain on the way back. The tires are quieter and have a smoother ride than the previous Firestones. Also, they handled better in the rain which was an issue before.

The manager at Discount Tire suggested the Defender but after researching the CrossClimates, he agreed they’re now a better tire. They’re the #1 rated tire in their class on TireRack.com.

Good luck with your decision!

By the way, Discount Tire matched Costco’s sale price and they offer free tire rotations for the life of the tire. At 95 lbs. a wheel/tire I’m done with manhandling them myself.
