Black Tape
I just black taped my numbers. That ought to be very interesting when I appear at the Region 9 rally in April.

Hi John:
If you are willing, I will mail you an extra set of my WBCCI big red numbers so you can put them on the side of your trailer and also put a piece of black tape through them. Maybe we can create many similar "large bulletin boards" of black-taped red numbers on trailers that attend different WBCCI Rallies around the country to visually show the EC-7 and IBT the extent of member dissatisfaction with their actions and policies.

Leo is our martyr. His excommunication has embolden the faithful to speak and enabled others to see the light.
By refusing to renounce his faith in the club, and continuing to preach for their conversion, Saint Leo has become a major modern martyr model for all us marginalized mere members.
If St. Leo gets resurrected and reinstated, someone else will have to be sacrificed to the mighty mangling managers.

You have made your point, several times, and you have missed THE point.
This goes way beyond Leo. He is the standard bearer that will bring the complete mismanagement of the IBT to the light and awareness of the general membership.
If you do not want to be a part of this fight stand aside. We will hold a your spot when we are through.

Maybe we've finally reached the point than an external review of all of club procedures, practices and past results is necessary. Maybe had this been done years ago we'd now be operating in the 21st century, with a growing membership and running profitably?
|
It is WAY past time for this IMHO. In fact, I would go so far as to say that a complete IRS audit would be in order. Which i am sure will be addresses shortly.

I think I'll just stick with my own numbers taped.

Another casualty
Another casualty of the mess that some may not realize.
Leo's wife Gail was also terminated according to the bylaws
So I guess a spouse is guilty by association, where's that Court?
Support the defense fund you could be next.

I can't be next, first I don't have a wife anymore and I'm not a WBBCI anymore...
Otherwise i don't think that there is any way to be guilty by association not even before a criminal court...

Death
The WBCCI is going to die a natural death so why spend money to fight them? It takes two to lock horns and Ya can't be stubborn unless someone's pushin'ya.
Maybe "The Airstreamer's Club" can take it place.
Had to get this in before Jane closes this thread.

Then there are those who try to file a grievance against people who are no longer WBCCI members, and so they resort to phone harrassment....

Because they SHOULD be held ACCOUNTABLE! Never mind what is prudent, economical or convenient. They owe a debt and an accounting to the whole of WBCCI membership and they only wish we would get tired, give up, move on, and leave them to their own devices to spend the entire assets to pleasure themselves.
It is WRONG! Never mind what is cost prohibitive. There is recompense due. Justice for all, is a thing that can't be bought or suspended or circumvented. Morality and Code of ethics is a priority within WBCCI. It is the abuse that has robbed the club of its spirit and virtue and funds.
It is NOT a natural death! Don't fall trap to thinking it is.

Because you don't let a club with a 50+ year history die without a fight!
