Some day, we'd like to be able to attend one of the international rallies. Won't happen anytime soon (unfortunately), but I wondered if they've already decided on rally locations for the next several years. Like 2012 and beyond.

They will be in MO next year and there are rumors of OK or SD for 2013. They usually let it be known during the International.

Oh, so I guess it's basically a (less than) two-year-out thing. Probably makes sense.

I wonder if they've ever considered Albuquerque. FMCA does their convention there, so I suspect there'd be enough facilities.

2012 will be in Sedalia Missouri.

The Escapees held an Escapade there with 900 RV's two years ago. Nice facilities except that it rained hard for two days and many, many RVs needed to be towed out including myself and friends.

Well, they are welcome to come to either WA or Oregon. In late June and early July is when we have our 3 weeks of summer. smile (today it is 82* in Olympia, WA and most of Western WA)

I am Du Quoin right now and this week there will be (I think) 4 presentations by States that want us to come to their State next year. It's all up to the incoming President. So even 2012 hasn't been decided.

PhiDor, I thought Sedalia Missouri was a signed deal for 2012? Has this changed? When will you know what venue is choosen for 2012 if its not Sedalia?

Sedalia Missouri will be the site for next year. There will be a presentation by a group from there next week. 2013 has not been announced.

How far is Sedalia from Duquoin? Could I like, walk over there from Duquoin?

Perhaps there could be changes as to how the Internationals are planned and members could choose locations and help plan activities and set the rates, perhaps by alternating region participation rather than directly linked to an individual EC host and choice. That might provide more variance and infuse new ideas into the mix.

Sedalia is over on the western side of the state closer to Kansas City. Not too far south of I 70. Our local dealership here in St. Louis used to sponsor a rally there every other year. I think my first year going to it he had 350 units. The campground is pretty open, most sites on grass and at the time were all full hookups. It is the state fair grounds with many buildings and a small indoor arena.
