No such luck

The numbers are the WBCCI (Wally Bynam Caravan Club International) the seals were put on by many members to show which state they were from. I have a 1981 with a similar seal for NC.

I show no listing for 3427. 12642 is currently assigned to some folks in Edmond, OK.

It's the owner who is a member of WBCCI, not the Airstream, and the number is assigned to the owner. So an owner who sells his Airstream keeps the numbers— as long as he has or gets another Airstream. If he owns multiple Airstreams, they would all have the same number on them.

An owner who sells his one and only Airstream and doesn't buy another one is no longer eligible to be a member and his number is held in abeyance for a few years before being reassigned to someone else.

As near as I can tell, I'm the third person to have WBCCI number 1105, and that number would go on any Airstream I own for as long as I'm a member of the club.

In my 2014 Blue Beret 3427 belongs to Linda Goetz in Ohio. If you have access to a Blue Beret WBCCI membership book you will find info.

The 1981 Directory lists Paul and Marion True from Madison MN owning that number. They dropped out of membership by 1983 and most likely sold the trailer to someone else who joined the club and was given the 12642 number. Since we do not know when that number was added to the trailer, we can not be certain that the Kenneys, from Edmond owned the trailer, but they were still listed in the 2010 directory.
