finding my grandparent's Airstream

I know 70 years is a long time, but old Airstreams were sturdy, right? I would love to know if my grandparents' Airstream is still usable (of course, I would like to get it). Is there a registry that tracks back to the 1950s? They were Edwin and Edna Long. Lived in West Palm Beach, Florida.

We don't have photos, numbers, or anything. I was a preschooler and just know that they went with groups of other Airstreams through the Southwest, and I think they towed it behind a Nash (funny the little things that stick in one's head).

Since I dream of an Airstream, would like to at a minimum find their number and the model/style they had. Of course, if someone happened to have it sitting in the backyard....

Thanks to anyone who has those old records and can give me an ID number.

The WBCCI headquarters in Jackson Center should have records of the early caravans. That might give you a starting point and their membership numbers.
