Around the World Airstream!

Airstream collectors pay attention!

There is a item now on eBay that claims to be one of the actual trailers that participated in the 1963-64 Around the World Caravan. It is claimed to be a two owner 1963 Overlander w/ WBCCI # 7667 and also with the accompanying original 1963 3/4-ton Ford 4x4 tow vehicle. Check it out and see what you think:

Checked out the description on ebay. Seems like a lot to make up, so it may be quite true. With all that history, it would be a very cool Airstream to own.

Reviving an Old Thread

Hey all,
Since I recently had the chance to look over another Airstream that was on the 1963-64 Around the World Caravan (a 1963 Safari #8671 that was recently offered on eBay), I remembered that I had posted this link over a year ago when this trailer, a 1963 Overlander #7667, was offered on eBay. I am thinking that it is time to start documenting all of the existing trailers from this Caravan.

Unfortunately, the link I originally provided to the eBay auction is long dead and at the time I did not think to download any of the photo's of this trailer and tow vehicle combination. If anyone did so and would share the photo's with me, I'd really apprecate it. If anyone here was the seller or purchaser of that trailer/tow vehicle combination and has any other information (e.g. Serial #) or photo's to share, please contact me. Thanks.
