There was one grievance from Mexico unit I think was said. The committee decided that slander was a legal matter and as such out of their jurisdiction and dismissed.

Sedalia Missouri will be the location of the 2012 International and will have three point hook-ups and a large air conditioned center for activities. There is a walking, biking, equestrian path that goes all the way to Saint Louis from there.

There was a comment made about last meeting's discussion over unit caravan recognition and how unneccessary that is and how caravan leaders don't lead for recognition and now that the caravan leaders' recognition dinner is coming up... he was just sayin' that seems a double standard.

Financially the WBCCI is doing well with a million dollars in assets, cash, it was reported.

It looks like the agenda has been updated and the seminar is expected to run into tomorrow. I think Wed. was originally scheduled as a free day.

I expect activity will get a lot "warmer" when they get to the 2020 and CBL revision reports

Entertainment for the DuQuoin Illinois International will be a Frank Sinatra sound alike vocalist, a bluegrass band and a special session of dolls organized by the first lady. Bring yours along.

I suppose there wasn't much said that I totally disagree with, but it has all been said before. When you take a look at the Blue Beret newsletters starting around 1990, you'll see that membership recruiting and retention has been an issue since then, and they said the same things then that they are saying now.

How does everyone feel about the mortuary music played during breaks? Isn't is soothing?

Especially the tics every second, sounds like it comes from an old vinyl record.

I hate to harp on it, but they need some new music.

Pun intended.

The other 2 or 3 would probably be her grandkids!

Apparently, it was only heard during Executive Session (private).

Well, I'm glad it is now recorded that the DENCO Unit motion will be sent out, but I have to admit that it was all a bit anticlimactic.

Not really, we report to the Exec Board, not the IBT, not the members directly.

It will all be out to everyone I believe shortly.

Pretty soon you won't have to worry because you won't have any members left. Then you can report solely to your precious boards because that's all that will be left.

It kinda reminds me of Thanksgiving dinner as a child and having to sit at the kids table. I hope someday, I too get to sit at the adult Exec Board table so I to get to hear all the important stuff going on that as children we wouldn't understand. Maybe I can get others to pay for my dinner too. On second thought, as a child all I heard coming from the adult table was them talking about how they had to disciplined their children.

Guess I'm still just a child at the WBCCI Thanksgiving dinner.

I will now wait for Bob to make his normal rude comment back to a member of the WBCCI.
