Should we add front jacks ?

Hi everyone

Has anyone added front jacks to a 2003 International. We are just beginning to travel longer than just for the weekends, most other airstreams we see have the front jacks.

Thanks,

Hi,
We have a 21' Sovereign and added front jacks after our first trip. Decided to add them since if someone was still in bed and the other one up and about, in/out, you could feel it. We had the Airstream dealer put them on for us. The kit was $116, the feet kit was $22 and an hour of labor. Makes a difference! I didn't realize who "wobbly" it was.

I have a 1963 Tradewind 24'. I only have the rear BAL jacks also.

How much stability do the front stabalizers add on a single axle mid to short length???

I would certainly add them. Takes you from a three point stance to a four corner stability, definitely better in the long run.

They are not really jacks.

They are stabilizers and not meant for leveling. I just lower them
to the point that I feel resistance and before I see the trailer rise.
I have all four on my 20', and to me it is worth having them.

We have all four on our 20'. Wobbly without them and also may lend extra support to protect the frame outriggers from sagging.

Thank you everyone

Adding the stabilizers (aka jacks) is on the Spring "To Do" list. And it certainly is the person who is still in bed who feels the rocking and rolling !
