Nasty sharp corner
The corners of the bumper storage lid are quite sharp. I am reminded of this when I look at my left arm! The lid doesn't open fully, leaving the sharp corner right where it can easily jab you when stowing things in the compartment.

I'm going to grind a radius on the corners on my trailer. I'm also going to email Airstream a suggestion to this effect.
