'Lug Nut' just bought one. He has a digital camera but doesn't know how to use it! I work with him so bug him to let me see it and I'll use my digital camera (that I know how to use) and snap you some pics.

Is there such a thing as a 25' CCD? If so, this is the first we've heard of it. As far as we know, CCD comes in 3 flavors - 16', 22' , 28'. If AS is makeing a 25' model, we'd love to see it too.

'Lug Nut' brought it to work today since he is taking it to the hitch place at lunch for the Hensley Arrow install. Very Nice!
Yes, it is a 2004 25' CCD model!
Myself and a fellow (SOB) co-worker were drooling inside and outside.

2004 International CCD 25C
Yeah, Fred is right. I haven't figured out how to unload my digital pics and put them out on the Forum yet. Fred may have to come over and show me how to do it. The wife (Torque Wench) and I just bought the 2004 International CCD 25C in Atlanta from the new A/S Dealer (in Lithia Springs). We went there to look at the Safari 25C, which we saw and liked. We didn't know they made an International CCD 25C either, but it has the exact same floor plan as the Safari 25C. The difference is in the materials. The Safari has carpeting, wood cabinets, and cloth drapes. My wife has allergies and liked the CCD 25C because it had no carpeting, just a lineoleum flooring that looks like hardwood floors. The interior walls of the CCD 25C is all aluminum, no fabric. Instead of wood cabinets, it has laminated wood. The galley is white, but the rest is black. It has pull-down shades instead of fabric window coverings. All of that will help with the wife's allergy situation. Also, the windows open out on the CCD 25C and the Safari 25C windows don't open. It has two fantastic fans. Torque Wench thinks it will be super easy to keep clean. She used to have to haul a vacuum cleaner and daily vacumed out the SOB MH we used to have. With the CCD 25C, you sort of get the feeling you are on the Starship Enterprise. We're taking it out for the maiden voyage this weekend, as soon as I get the Hensley Arrow hitch installed. I have the mechanical apptitude of a chimpanzee so I didn't attempt it myself. Shoot, I'm still trying to figure out the Zip Dee awning! It'll probably take 2 Coronas just to figure that out. Anyway, I promise to get some pics of the "Starship" out here soon so you can see what it looks like.

CCD & 25C
Ruby, A/S has a special edition of the International series called the CCD, which is apparently the initials of the architect and designer, Christopher Deam, who designed the interior. The other International series is known as the International AS. The 25C model designation indicates it is 25 feet long, and the "C" means it is their 6-person sleeper (bed, dinette bed, and sofa bed). They have a 25A and a 25B, but they don't have the dinette. I'm not sure if they have a sofa. As for the wife, the lovely Torque Wench knows just how to tighten me up!

Oh my..
Lug Nut..
Thank you for the explanation as I thought maybe it meant cross country design or couldn't catch dem..
I did go to Airstream's website and ordered a brochure and took a few virtual tours. Great looking rigs. I've got an original 1962 brochure. Very retro now and fun to have. My Safari was pulled by a Ford Falcon.
Give regards to (LOL) Torgue Wench,
Niki

25' CCD $
Lug Nut,
If you don't mind us asking...how much did you pay for it?
We just bought a 22' CCD and feel we have been s...... by our local dealer.
Initially, we were looking at the 25' C Safari but since we also have allergy problems we moved to the CCD series.
Our purpose was to live out of the AS for a few months next year. Thus we were very hesitant with the switch because the 25'C looks and feels much larger than the 22'CCD. It also has a larger fridge and full bath that would've been really comfy.
Our own words to the dealer were "we wish they made the 25'C w/ CCD interiors".
He told us "Forget it, it won't happen! AS won't ever make a CCD of the same length of the other series!". That was only 5 weeks ago.
As I said before we got suckered!

2004 Airstream Prices
Kimili, You asked how much I paid for the 2004 International CCD 25C. It was $45, 496. They came down a little from their list price of $47,243. I still have the 2004 Dealer price list in case anyone is interested in seeing the Dealer's retail numbers. The folks in Jackson Center, Ohio are mighty proud of these trailers, as you can see from these prices on their 2004 trailers.
19' Safari Bambi - $33,203.
25' Safari - $38,603.
25' Safari 6-sleeper - $39,143.
28' Safari Non-Slide - $45,353.
28' Safari Slide-Out - $51,293.
16' International CCD Bambi - $32,393.
19' International CCD Bambi - $37,793.
22' International CCD - $40,493.
25' International CCD 6-sleeper - $47,243.
28' International CCD - $52,643.
25' Classic - $53,753.
28' Classic - $57,953.
30' Classic - $62,433.
30' Classic Slide-Out - $69,713.
31' Classic - $62,153.
34' Classic - $71,113.
34' Classic Slide-Out Dinette - $79,513.
34' Classic Slide-Out Lounge - $82,313.
Kimili, I hope you didn't get burned too bad. These numbers will give you a point of reference. Well, Torque Wench and I are rolling out tomorrow after work and taking the "Starship" to the beach. I can't wait.

mighty hot
Lug Nut,
thanks for sharing!
...and yeah we did get burnt and pretty bad!
This is our first tow vehicle ever and it had to be an AS. We had no clue of prices and tried to do our homework but our local dealer just knew better.
Less than 5 weeks ago we bought a 2003 22'CCD for $39,821!!
The worst part of the story is we still have not picked it up from the dealer, we had to change our vehicle. If all goes well by mid-Aug we should be heading out for our Maiden trip.
Just feels bitterly sour that our dream one is out there and the dealer conveniently lied.
Wish you loads of fun with your new baby and please post some pics we're dying to see it.

Don't feel so bad - have some pity for us poor Canadians! We have to pay around 40% on top of the prices listed for exchange. When I bought my Safari in February the exchange rate was close to 60%. I have already overpaid by 20% and that was only 5 months ago!
Oh well, I bit the bullet and am very pleased with the Silver Condo!

He just posted pics of the interior of the 25 on his website and has them at his dealership.
Well go down there saturday, take a look and discuss!

Kimili,
Our local dealer offerd us a 25' CCD with 3 or 4 extras on the sticker for $ 42K plus change. This was before tax and licensing fees.
I don't know if this is a good or bad price, but it's what they offered to us.
They said the wait for new units ( CCD's) was about 4 weeks.
Good Luck to you - I hope your dealer can change the order for you. I would insist if i was in your situation. My reason would be his deliberate misinforming you. He must have known about the 25's, him being the Airstream Dealer....

The pop-up on Colonial's website states that this was the first 25CCD trailer produced in the US, and that they have stock now.
How come they already sold them in Irvine, CA over one month ago??

...maybe they got it delivered later?!
or, more probably, they were just selling all their old stock to naive new buyers before showing off their NEW items!
After our experience with them, we have to strongly reccomend you to use another dealer.
We did contact them and the owner didn't even bother to call us back!
We're going there next weekend, let's see if face to face they'll practice a more honest business tactic.

25' CCD: NEW 22' CCD for SALE!
WOW this baby is beautiful!! beyond belief.
We were down at our dealer yesterday and finally talked to the owner - great guy!
Hopefully he'll work something for us, we'll keep you posted.
After seeing the 25' we literally fell in love with it and if we get a good price I believe we'll make the change.
Our 2003 22' CCD is brand new, never left the dealer's lot!
Trading it in to them won't be a bargain...
Anyone out there interested in a great deal?!
Cheers
Kimili
PS
we have pics and guarantees of our 22'CCD.
