HELP Lost Wire

Hi All,

Need help FINDING wire. HISTORY: Thought that I would change out propane alarm on my 2000 34' Excella. After removing unit from wall, I did something VERY stupid, I CUT THE WIRES WITHOUT SECURING THEM FROM GOING BACK INSIDE THE WALL!!!. Only the ground wire shot back into the wall and I was able to fold back the hot wire.

Now the problem is trying to find the ground wire. Original hole is only about 3/4" and located about 12-18" above floor. No way to 'look' and see where the ground wire is. I have removed a small piece of baseboard trim that is under the hole and at the moment "thinking" about cutting another hole closer to the cabinets to see if the wire is lying there and 'fish' it out

Unknown is the wires drop down from above or if they are lying on bottom from sidewall.

ANY GOOD SUGGESTIONS????

Thanks in advance

Lawrence

You can even get an endoscope with a grabber on the end:

Good luck!

A less expensive but equally useable grabber for blind fishing:

A BIG Thanks to ALL for the advice.

I got a 'snake' camera, however I didn't want one that goes to the phone, so I got this:

https://www.amazon.com/Dual-Lens-End...ef_=ast_sto_dp

Would NEVER have found the wire without it. It comes with a small magnet and a hook, however the hook is junk. It did work to snag the wire, but snapped as I was pulling it thru the hole. Also, has a side camera on the head.

Wire that I was looking for had ALMOST slid under the shower pan.

Again, THANKS

Lawrence
