wiring schematic

Just bought a pristine 1995 30 and haven't even picked it up yet. It is sitting in AZ waiting on me !!! I'm new to the forum and new to Airstreams, but looking forward to both.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for my trailer they could send me? It sure would be helpful in checking things out and getting to know the unit..
Anything else you guys think I should know as a new Excella owner would also be greatly appreciated.
thanks
bob

A schematic for what?

The trailer or for the 12 volt connector cable?

I was lucky and mine came with a service manual. If I was you I would order one and read it cover to cover. It has wiring diagrams, all kinds of instructions for disassembly that will save you hours, and detailed instructions for every system on the trailer. Wouldn't be without one.

For the entire trailer, but you bring up a good point. I have a seven blade on my truck and assumed the airstream would be pretty standard and I would just plug in and go.. Would that not be the case..
thanks for helping a rookie

Seven round terminal or seven flat terminal?

It seems to me that in RV use seven flat is the standard, and that in general they follow standard protocol from the factory, but you never know when an individual owner will deviate from standard fare and switch things up.

Whatever someone has done, I always recommend returning to standard pin placement in the plugs.

That said, the wiring between the plug and lights on my 72 was just the tip of the iceberg of the 12V wiring... (There are a lot of wires in these campers) So I ripped it all out and went with a more simplistic plan...
