Recessed license plate mount

Anyone have a source for the black plastic recessed license plate mount used on my 1994 Excella?

It must not have been used on many models, as I haven't found it in the usual parts sources.

I had to look up your recessed license plate holder to see what you were talking about, and I bet there aren't any OEM replacements out there. I googled recessed license plate holders, and there are some that are made for the custom car crowd. They're probably not a match for your original, though.

Is your original irretrievably damaged? Maybe you can fix it somehow....

Like all plastic parts, mine is slowly drying out and shrinking. I've got it sealed for now, but I can see the day where a new one will be needed. My expectation is that once it shrinks a bit more there will be stress cracks at the recessed corners. My thought was that if a replacement could be found it would be worthwhile to do it now before water finds its way inside.
