Pictures and (or) layout of '82 Excella

I'm debating whether or not to go look at a used RV at a dealer. It is a 82 triple axle Excella. Anybody have pictures of the layout or actual pictures inside one of these? How does it sleep 6? Did these models all have electric brakes or where they hydraulic?

What do you guys think of this rig, comment please!

I am new to airstreams and am thinking about buying one. This is an 1982 that I am looking at.
I need some better pictures of the bathroom. Is that heater by the door stock or an add-on?
What about the green wood trim that is seen throughout? Is that stock or is that trying to hide
something? Sorry moderators, looks like I started this thread in the wrong forum can you please move
it?

Well I need to see the bathroom to make sure we don't have a cracked shower pan or seat. Want to see a picture of the head. Want to know if that heater by the door was an option or maybe it means the main furnace is dead and this was the quick fix. Is that green wood trim original? Doesn't seem to match the rest of the trailer.

Also would this model have purely electric brakes or hydraulic brakes?

It has electric brakes, if it had hydraulic you would see a box up front behind the gas bottles and I don't think they were on 82s. The heater beside the door is a catalytic heater and it was an option. Usually added on at a dealer/Camping World. Alot of people in the north have them and use only them as the use less gas and keeps it comfy inside. It looks pretty good on the inside, don't know what you mean by the "green" wood trim. THe green on the wall by the dinette is fabric. It sleeps 6, if they are kids, two on the drop down dinette and 2 on the couch.

Oh, that's what that green stuff is about midway down the wall, I thought it was wood, lol.

The drapes look quite nice, the carpet???, but the foam on the cushions isn't worn down. But what about the water tanks (all 3), tires, brakes, does he refrigerator work on gas and electric, how about the univolt? Are there and dents in the skin? Is the plasticoat peeling? Has it been recoated? There's alot to look at when buying an A/S.

Univolt is the converter. It converts 120 down to 12 volts. You should be able to hook on to it and hit the brakes and hear them engage. I think someone else might have a better idea on that. Does it have numbers on it, big red ones, front and back. ( They are WBCCI club #s) If it does and you had someone look up the previous owners name you coud contact them on what they have had done. The tambour doors look real nice and hopefully aren't split. Do you have more pictures?

The people on the forums and WBCCI members are so helpful when it comes to helping someone with buying an AS. If someone is near you and where the trailer is, I'm sure they would gladly go with you to look at it. We did it for someone near us because she didn't know what she was selling and we helped her sell it, including finding a buyer.

Also another question to you long time airstreamers, would it be entirely unreasonable to ask the person selling this to run water into it and the tanks to check them out this time of year, assuming that they'd have to re-winterize when done?
