Question TV shelf?

My 25' Safari has twin beds with tv connections and 110v plugs on each side of the night stand. There are also tv outlets on the wall joining the closet on the curb side of the trailer about eye level at the foot of the bed. But, there is no shelf there to place a tv on. Any ideas on where I can pick up something like this, that would fold up, without having to get one from A/S?

I searched and searched for the same thing and ended up buying it from Airstream. Cost about $75. which seemed like a lot, but...we use it all the time and it is very well made. The bax had everything needed to install it.

Drop me a note if you get one and I will share my installation mistake(s), so you don't do the same.

I made a triangular shaped TV shelf out ot the same materieal that i used to replace all of my counter tops and trimed it with oak just like the counter tops it realy looks good. I mounted it on the roadside above the twin bed the oak trim is wide and I can leave my TV in place when traveling. Wish i had a digital camera so that I could show you what it looks like

John,

Isn't that where your receiver goes for the backup/rearview camera?

John

I would like to see a picture of how your mirror folds down to make a TV stand. I am trying to figure out how to mount a TV in the bedroom as well.

Thanks

My light bulb just came on...my father-in-law just purchased a new Shopsmith! That would be a great project for him.

John,

That's a heat wave for you!!

The snow helps to prevent it from raining.

Here's the one Airstream put in my trailer.

It is also $74.99 in the Stag-Parkway catalogs the local RV dealers buy with their name on the cover.

Lightbulb

I have a 2003 Safari with the queen bed. The TV shelf folds down and seems too flimsy to hold much. I considering a flat-panel LCD TV like this one http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=...=24&scat=1222.
