Refrigerator upgrade to 10Cu ft??

I have a 1999 Safari 25C we have owned since new. Still in great condition. Planning to upgrade the OEM Dometic RM2652 because we are traveling more and to more distant places since I retired. We can use extra food storage.

The 25C has storage above and below the refer. I know the 12V DMC4081 8 cu.ft. is a direct replacement for the above current absorption unit. My question is this...has anyone ever put in the DMC 4101 in a Safari? I believe there is just enough space if I eliminate the storage area above, but without taking out the current unit, not sure if there is anything else behind the refer that would pose a problem.

Otherwise, I'll just put in the 8 cu. ft unit.

Thanks for any thoughts...
Jace
