Painting the yellowed plastic trim holding up liner in 97 Safari

We picked up a 1997 Safari this week and we are already cleaning and touching up the insides. Most of it is in great shape but a lot of the plastic trim pieces have yellowed. Most pieces I can remove and paint but the strips over the inside liner I haven't a clue. I could tape and paint or get a narrow roller and paint them.

So what have others done? What Are Your tips?

Thanks,
Rick

Hi

Paint is always an option. Before you paint any of it try scrubbing a bit. If the color is from air pollution, paint isn't going to stick to it very well.

I think we would like to paint the trim. Can someone recommend a spray paint that works great on this plastic ABS? Any prep?
Thanks

I would start here. http://www.rustoleum.com/product-cat...plastic-primer

Then select compatible paint. "Test in inconspicuous area" is important
