Brought it home from storage Sat. and doused it with water all
afternoon trying to get to leak. Started low and worked my way up
onto the top. Great! No leaks. Sun. repeated the process for 2
hours with the front end up and then down and still no leaks. Feeling
I had finally got it sealed, I returned it to the storage area and you
guessed it, night stand and beds were wet again. Aaaaaaghhhhh!!!

When I read this, made me wonder if maybe...by some chance you're getting water collected in your belly area..When you moved it, the tilting of the unit shifted the water toward the rear??
Just a thought...
ciao

i cannot take any credit for the idea, i read it here on another post.
The place I store my Safari also has a shop. The owner told me he is planning on buying a unit to pressurize and check for leaks but doesn't have a time line. Don't know how long I can hold out. Can not locate anyone in the area that has one. Read somewhere that they only have about a 40% success rate with Airstreams.
