Roof View of our 2002 Classic

Just thought I'd attach a couple of photo's showing the roof of our AS Classic that shows our solar panel and dish(Direct TV) setup. The shots were taken from the deck of our home looking toward our neighbors house and Garden Mountain, near Garden Valley, Idaho.

I'd post a photo of what I am looking at right now out of my office window(four lanes of I95 in PG County MD) but I don't think it would be as inspiring, unless you wanted a motivation to head out and go camping! It does motivate me to head back home each evening to our mountains.

Is the white roof standard, or did you have that done?

The white roof is standard on later model (90's and up?) Airstreams

Thanks for the kind compliments, we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the USA. We do have plenty of space for AS visitors so if you are in the neighborhood, shoot me an email and we'll set you up. We live 50 miles north of Boise on the Payette River.

partial roof view of our Airstream. 2003 28' Classic

We just bought a 2002 Classic 28. There are 2 metal petcocks and one plastic one curbside near the wheels which I assume are low point drains. The metal ones let out very little water, however the plastic one drained for hours. WTH!Also any other concerns would be helpful.

The plastic one is probably the fresh water tank drain. Its famous for being really slow to drain. The others are low point drains.
