There should be a metal tag on the axles and it will probably show Duraflex and "Henschen" as the manufacturer. You will have to install Dexter axles as Henschen is out of business. Here is a link to my install of new axles two years ago. https://www.airforums.com/forums/f43...ic-215364.html

Here is a picture of the old tag. 4200 lb axles. I went with 4700 lb axles.

Not sure when the switch was made, but my 2007 had dexter axles...and the tag was a sticker. I took a pic of it back in 2010. It is illegible now. However, AS has records, by VIN, so you may be able to get the info from them.

If you can’t find the tag, axle dealers have a series of questions concerning the dimensions and other properties about your axles, which will result in correct replacement assemblies being built for your trailer (if you answer the questions accurately).

I have found the VIN tag on the trailer will list the GAWR. This is the weight rating for the axle that was installed when the trailer was manufactured. For example the tag on my trailer has a GAWR of 4000 lbs. When I replaced the axles on my older trailer I went to 4500 lb axles. Regardless a #11 Dexter axle, 5200 lb axle will be used for your trailer. It can be derated down to 4000 lbs. I bet the GAWR on your 30' trailer will be at least 4500 lbs.

My 2007 Classic 30' has 5000# axles, just as a point of reference.

As did our Classic. It came with two 3500lb axles, a GVWR of 7300lb, and a CCC rating of 680lb. NOT great.
