I have found the VIN tag on the trailer will list the GAWR. This is the weight rating for the axle that was installed when the trailer was manufactured. For example the tag on my trailer has a GAWR of 4000 lbs. When I replaced the axles on my older trailer I went to 4500 lb axles. Regardless a #11 Dexter axle, 5200 lb axle will be used for your trailer. It can be derated down to 4000 lbs. I bet the GAWR on your 30' trailer will be at least 4500 lbs.
