Question 2004 Classic 31'

I just purchased a used 2004 Classic 31'. There are two telephone jacks in the interior of the Airstream. Where is the exterior connector for a hook up? I haven't been able to locate it. The owners manual doesn't seem to give my guidance about its locatiion.

Look on the streetside rear of the camper. There is a grey outdoor type electric box. It should have cable and phone jacks instead of electrical outlets.

Anytime. I had the same question when we picked up our first Airstream.

The jack in on the right-hand (rear of the trailer) wall of the electrical cable compartment. In the same position on the forward wall is the jack for cable/satellite TV.

They hid them on the Classics. See my previous post. My International was as you describe.

I would not mind having the exterior jacks since the cable connector for the TV is especially hard to get to. Looks nice, not having extra clutter on the exterior, though.

It is a pain to get your hand up there and screw the cable on. However, Radio Shack sells a slip-on connector ... makes it so much easier.

I would second that. It is a must to have those slip on quick connects or it is a real pain to connect the cable.
