17 years & we didn't even know.....

DW was cleaning "Cloudspliter" getting ready for our trip to JC this week when she came in the garage and asked...
"how long have had our AS"
"17 years said I"
"well I found something we never knew about."
"hardly said I"
"OK let me show you"

Stupid me...I should have known better.🥴

On an '03 25' Classic Twin bed...look what we found.
Notification at the PDI world have been helpful.(if they even knew)

Maybe increase the cleaning cycle frequency to something less than 17 years?

Kind regards to MJ and happy trails to JC,
I did not dare bring that point up..I have been banned from the interior during the cleaning process.

The JC trip went well as far as the actual work getting done was concerned. I had ordered axles with mechanical brake adjust and standard bearings. I got the bearings but also got never-adjust brakes.
Seems as though something always gets twisted.
Have heard of quite a few problems with the NA brakes...
WATCH 'EM.

The return trip home, not so much..."Laura" gave us a 100 miles of 50mph horizontal rain. We pressed on and got home a day late after recuperating overnight at a rest stop 75mi from home.

Give me a brake! That SNAFU is disappointing.

Wise of you to stop after Laura's punishing rain and wind.

Good judgment!
