Pickup new (used)AS Saturday

I will be picking up a 2004 Safari SS on Saturday, it is our first trailer, and I am pretty excited. I don't want to be so excited that I forget what I should be doing at the time of pick up.
Does anybody know where the VIN number or S/N is located?

Any folks out there have a check list you might share when buying and picking up a used trailer?

The VIN should be on a small placard near the front outside street side corner. On my trailer the placard also has manufacture date, weight information, tire inflation, etc.

The VIN is also stamped into the A-frame. This can be covered by equipment and paint making it hard to see.

The VIN is also listed on a placard on the inside face of the closet door, where the weight carrying capacities are listed.

Purchasing from a dealer or individual?

Inspect tires, tire pressure and date codes on tires. Don't want a blow out on your first tow and damage the wheel well. This maybe on the list but I can't read it on this computer.

Thanks for the information, the replies were spot on, and located the VIN with no problem. It was on the drivers side of the trailer up front.
