This is a craigslist SCAM. Let me guess, his kid is sick and needs a kidney transplant, and they need the $$$$$. Do not fall for this.
Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us.
The 2004 Safari for $8000 just has to be some kind of scam. Depending on the model, an '04 Safari should at least 3 times that much. Not impossible, but I would be extremely cautious.

Why pay $8000 when the same exact ad and trailer is listed here for only $5800. That listing is in the honolulu craiglist so your transportaion costs might be a little higher.
It is an evil scam , do not get sucked in!

I have a 2004 Safari and it's worth more than $8k. If it's local, go take a look. There could be an ever so slight chance someone just got divorced and just wants it gone. Doubtful, but not totally out of the question.
