A-Frame jack is Kaput

I just picked up my 2004 Safari 25 SS. I drove it from KY to VT via NC so towed it about 1400 miles. It towed great, but the jack was dead when we picked it up so we replaced it with a crank jack just to get it home. I looked on E-trailer.com and see many jacks, but do not know the weight capacity that I need. Anybody have an idea?

Check with the manufacturer of the jack. They will know the specifications from the model and serial number. My 2007 Safari jack had a problem and the Mfg. helped. They even replaced some parts for free.

There is nothing in it. Maybe the PO painted it because it's all black.

It is part number 511544 in Airstream's inventory. You can find it on Out-of-Doors Mart site (odmrv.com) under Airstream Super Jack 511544.

Mine doesn't look anything like that. It actually looks very similar to this one, and I am guessing that a 3500 lb jack will be sufficient :

Part number came from Airstream service site PDF. I have the 3500 power jack, plus a slide, so you can be comfortable it is sufficient.
