Winterize van if not using water?

If I'm not gonna use the water/toilet, etc. in my Interstate, and it's in the 30's at night, am I at risk for bursting a pipe or anything?

Might be driving to Phoenix, and it looks like it's in the 30's at night, and mid to high 50's during the day.

Probably staying w/ relatives, so don't need to use water in van. But, want to be sure nothing bad will happen. Alternative is to just drive our car.

Southern Californian....no idea what to do when it drops below 55!!

Water won't freeze unless 32' or below I, in side it probably wouldn't start to freeze until 25' or so.

With my trailer I probably would not winterize and would use the water. Because I know if it gets cold the propane furnace will keep it from freezing. Does the van have a heater that will run overnight and keep the pipes from freezing when it is parked if you do hit a cold spell?

Forecast for today (12/25/15) is 60/35 degrees (day/night).

We don't winterize or worry about pipes freezing until overnight lows drop into the teens, and daytime temps are consistently in the low-20's (which does not occur in Phoenix).

I would not worry about cold weather unless your route includes an overnight stay in an area with the subfreezing conditions described above.

OK. Thanks. Sounds like we'll be fine. Was just a last minute thought that popped into my brain, so wanted to be sure.
