In your Interstate but not in a public restroom when it's ninety degrees.

Well, yes.....but we are talking here about black tank treatments, et al, in an Interstate, not how to properly dispose of toilet paper in a public restroom.

The fly in that ointment is that, for much of the year, my Interstate's restroom IS ninety degrees.
If I'm lucky, that is. I've measured it as high as 107 with the Fantastic pulling in fresh air.

You know, I've just camped 5 nights in heat, and the bag thing seemed to work fine.
I intentionally chose scented bags, and there is only me in there.
I also ran the AC most of the weekend, too.

I've just emptied my black tank for the first time since adding the 1 cup Borax, 1/2 cup liquid Tide, and a gallon of hot water.
I have also continued bagging toilet paper.
I've been traveling 4 days, have noticed no offensive odor, and everything emptied without issue this morning.
Much less water used to flush, no odor, seemed to work just fine.

There was always a vaguely chemical smell in my AI. It wasn't bad, but annoying. It came with that smell and no matter what I used for the black tank, there was a sickly sweet chemical smell. The Nature's Head compost toilet went in this spring as alternative to fixing the black tank and the smell is gone. (And no new smells!) I'm still using water softener for the gray tank so it wasn't that. DH says I have extra smell sensors, so maybe just me.
