Looks like the two back-to-back equalizations may have pushed the batteries back in to the "usable" category. After leaving the van with the MB dealer overnight for B service and full alignment, when we picked it up today the batteries were still fully charged. The system was in "Store" mode with the propane switch off. We assume the onboard 100 watt panel must have provided enough of a trickle charge to keep the batteries happy despite other parasitic drains. We'll see how it behaves over the next couple of days, but we are now officially hopeful that we'll be able to get some use out of the existing batteries until we do our Lithium upgrade, currently scheduled for mid-December.
Next up, we upgrade the radio head to a Pioneer In-Dash Multimedia Receiver with 9" HD Capacitive touch floating display and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Alpine speakers, a shallow subwoofer, and an Alpine amplifier.
