I find water in sliding door cup holder cause? Solution? Ususally after a heavy rain or heavy washing obviously some sort of window leak
Check the seal on the opening window just above the cup holder. That would be the obvious source. Look for any leak tracks in the mouse fur above the cup holder.

I had same problem for years. It was the window in the sliding door. My leak was difficult to find as it was a manufacturing defect in the window frame. I'll try to find my earlier post with details and post link in this thread.

I had mine at JC to fix the leak. First thing they did was to pull and re-install the window. They then sprayed and leak was still there. We them outside spraying and me inside looking we finally determined that the leak was around the door handle - a MB issue. I compared my Sprinter with numerous others and can see no difference in door handles - can find no evidence of a gasket or seal that is on others but not mine. Eventually just decided to live with it - and it seems to have lessened over time. I did not get water in the cup holder - just along the rear bottom of the mouse hair panel.
