Vehicle Height with Sat Dish

Iím buying an Interstate 19, delivery is Dec/Jan. I intend to install a Winegard 2035 t4 sat dome. What will the vehicle height be with the sat dome? Itís 9í7Ē including the AC as itís delivered. The dome will mount on the roof behind the AC and is 13.5Ē tall. What I donít know is the height of the AC from the roof of the vehicle. I intend to modify one of my garage bays to accommodate the 19. Any help is appreciated.

Suggest calling Airstream customer service. They should be able to give you the height of the roof line for you to add 13. 5" to it!
good luck

After doing some simple math (MB says a 2020 2x4 Sprinter 2500 high roof cargo van is 107.5 inches tall and you're saying the Winegard is 13.5" tall), I'd estimate the height of your Interstate 19 with the dish to be roughly 10' 1". However, if it were me, I'd build the garage with 11' of interior height just to make sure there's no issue with garage door openers, or anything else.

That said, these numbers are purely a SWAG, and if I were building something, I'd measure twice and build once to make darn sure the height numbers were right before I broke ground.

Oh and something fun to consider, which was my brother's idea: once you have that Winegard up there, have someone air brush with non-metallic paint so it looks like you have a minion on your roof. Maybe Bob.

Love that idea. Someone painted some small propane tanks to look like minions once.

I called my dealer and Rocinante is bang on-10’1”. I see King offers a quick disconnect mount. That may be the simplest option.
