Upgrading power supply

We want to convert from 2 AGM batteries to 4 lithium (recommend brands). We are told that since our Magnum Inverter is already part of the system it can remain for lithium use provided some adjustments are made. We’re undecided about where/how to install all of the batteries. The under/outside location saves interior storage space but is there too much wear/abuse if using that location? Love to hear the pros and cons about this option. We already purchased two shelves from Jackson Center since that was our original choice. One potential installer wasn’t sure about how to attach the battery shelves to the frame. Another potential installer encouraged us to locate inside either in the “storage well”, in the floor under the extended storage area, or under the couch on the passenger side.

Although we live in a cold climate we are aware that lithiums don’t function below 32 degrees F. Not a problem because we can hotel until arriving in warmer temps when driving north/south in winter/spring. Does anyone have experience with the outside option with problems?

We also want to install a new battery monitoring system (Victron) and any other electronics that will give feedback to better monitor our power use and where our power goes. A shunt needs to be installed too. Looking for feedback. Ultimately we would like to be able to boondock a few days.

I have 2 Battleborns under the couch on the passenger side - 1 in the original battery box and another just behind it (I have the ext). Lifepo4 batteries can discharge below freezing, but can be damaged charging below freezing. Battleborns have a low temp cutoff so they will be fine until you warm up the space. We have the magnum and replaced the remote to customize the charge profile. Also added the Victron monitor and a victron mppt. All is well there. Really glad we did it. Make sure you add a master switch to cut off all battery discharge during storage.
