Too Good?

A just listed Interstate for what seems an unbelievably good deal, or is this about right for a 12 year old Interstate?

I know nothing about used Interstate prices but that does seem low. Did you have it appraised?

Could be a craigslist scam... It might be a copy of a legitimate listing.. Scammers copy a listing lower the price, then they try and get someone to send a deposit to hold the vehicle.. Make a bunch of excuses of why you can't see it right away..

First reply to questions veered off into the "I'm out of the country at the moment... yada yada yada... can't send add'l pics, etc." Scammer for sure!

We were on the road when this post originated, but I wish I'd been able to see that Craigslist entry, to see which unit was represented, because I keep records of most of the T1Ns that hit the market, the ads for which I'm able to access. If anyone sees anything like this again in the future and I can access the photos, I might be able to ascertain where and when that particular Interstate was REALLY sold.

Why my interest? In part because the photos of our 2007 Interstate were scraped from the original sales ad and have been used in scam attempts from November 2014 continuing up until present day. I can still find live sales listings for the vehicle we bought almost two years ago. Here's a blog post describing that process.

AN AIRSTREAM INTERSTATE SALES SCAM
