Speaker Connection In and Out (Sprinter Chassis Issue?)

Hi! My 2017 Interstate 24GT has speakers that go in and out, randomly going between a weak connection, a very weak connection, and only static. All of the chassis and house speakers are equally affected. All audio connections are equally affected--radio, CD, Bluetooth, etc.

This sounds to me like an issue in the chassis--maybe a loose connection? Perhaps the radio harness in the chassis behind the entertainment/nav system?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who's tackled this before. I'm thinking that this could be a DIY rather than turning it over to the Mercedes dealer.

Agree - it’s likely a loose connection. Your 2017 has a radio head unit installed by Airstream. A Mercedes dealer won’t be much help. But a stereo shop like those in some Best Buy’s might be helpful But it’s fairly easy to pull out the head unit and check the connection on the wiring harness behind the radio.
