Shower head replacement

We are thinking about replacing the original shower head on our 2017 Interstate GT with this Camco one:

Anybody have a better recommendation?
The goal is a shower head that has a gentler spay (original one tends to lime up and get harsh) and has an off/on switch on the head.

Oxygenics is what I see most people get. We have not changed out yet.

For $8 for the Camco you can certainly afford to be disappointed.

I changed our shower head to the Oxygenics Body Spa RV eight years ago ($26) and we have been quite satisfied. The design accelerates the water speed giving a sensation closer to an at-home shower without increasing the water consumption rate. It does have an on/off feature which is activated by turning the knurled end of the handle adjacent to the hose connection.

The lime/calcification/debris issue is a function of your water and will affect both the shower heads and sink faucets. You may benefit from using a water filter for both city water connections and tank fills.

A filter will do nothing for calcium, lime etc.

Lime and calcium needs a water softener system at minimum.

We went with two items, a really low-flow, high-pressure shower head and a little valve to completely shut off the water. Boy, has it made a difference in both comfort of our showers and how long our FW tank lasts! And we don't have to shorten our showers as much knowing that it's not wasting water as we lather up! our last rig had an Oxygenics, but we found that we preferred to save even more water than that!

Not as cheap as others, but the most effective model we could find at only 1.5 GPM!

Go with the Oxygenics. Lower water usage and higher feeling output.
