Shore power to coach

Brand new to 2015 interstate, and Motorhome owner.
Do I turn on the battery disconnect switch by the side door, after hooking up shore power?
I’m plugged in but get no lights etc.
Had a speedy walk around, but do not remember .
Basic, I know.. can’t find it in any of the books either.
Thanks!!

When our 2016 is plugged in, we have to keep the coach turned on - e.g. flip the battery disconnect switch by the side door into the "on" position, which then turns on the Big Red Switch under the driver-side jump seat and lights up a red LED next to that switch by the door. Otherwise, everything is dark.

Yes, you need to turn on the Master on the inside of the door. Also, find the battery disconnect underneath the rear couch or bed and make sure it is on also. Good Luck !!

I think it's safer to have the switch off while connecting to shore power. Then throw the shore power breaker on to your surge guard ( get one if you dont already have it). After all looks good on your surge guard, throw your AS master on.
