Yup. Streamers, checklists, high, middle, and low walk around, etc. The Aviation community knows how to avoid embarrassment/snap landings as best they can. Take a page from their experiences.
Amazon sells lots of nice streamers in a couple colors and sizes for these purposes. I use labeled 3M hooks inside the wardrobe closet to store them before flight.
