Has anyone replaced this hose and if so, any tips?

The hose just screws off at the hose reel, and the end fitting also screws off, just like a garden hose. You can buy an OEM replacement here: RV Macerator Pump & RV Waste Disposal Accessories

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has used this product and if they are happy with it. I am thinking about ordering it but not sure the bayonet clamps have sufficient clearance to seat the fitting.

Thank you,

Works in conjunction w/ a macerator pump which is standard on the AIs. I like it.

Our hose has a slight leak due to getting bent. The leak is just below that silver clamp on the handle. I see where to get the new hose, but installation looks tricky. There are two white roller bars in the way and I can't get my hand in there to disconnect the hose. Any suggestions/help?

Sewer hose

Why replace the whole hose? You just need to cut off the hose at the split, remove the remaining hose and original clamp from the nozzle assembly, and reattach it to the hose using a new hose clamp.

I had to cut my hose twice because of a real small pin hole. Looks like the hose in general is about 2 feet to long and jams up easy . After loosing about 2 feet with my 2 cuts now it works OK and no more leaks either.

Thanks everyone for all the advise. We ended up cutting off the hose about 3 inches. Repositioned the handle on the hose and used a clamp from Home Depot. Just curious, Protaganist....how do you get the other end of the hose out? There are two rollers there that are blocking my hand from detaching the hose.

From underneath, after driving the van up onto leveling blocks to give the van a bit of extra ground clearance.

I just got the Drain master hose system. Only used it once but couldn't be happier.
