Seat Covers for Sprinter Vans

Anyone find some nice quality seat covers that they're happy with? I have a habit of looking at Airstream Interstates on RV Trader and saw one today that the front seats were in bad shape and don't ever want ours to look like that. Interested in some quality made ones if anyone has bought some and are happy with them.

I must confess that the reason that I keep lookin at Airstream Interstates on RV Trader is because I have this crazy idea of buying one, fixing it up, adding some mods and flipping it.

Seat Covers for Sprinter Vans

Every time this comes up, folks suggest Wet Okole. However, I called them because my chief complaint is that Airstream’s ultra leather seat covers don’t breathe and are hot / sweaty in warm weather. They said their neoprene seat covers would be awesome, except that those seat covers don’t breathe any better than ultra leather and would probably feel just as sweaty in warm weather. As a result, I have not tried them. If anyone has actual experience with these covers and how they fare in the hot and sweaty department in warm weather, I’d certainly be interested.

We wound up with Purple car seat cushions, which are more breathable and pretty comfy, though they aren’t seat covers.

I dont know about the cover but my front driver seat started to have that kind of separation. I got a quote from an upholstery shop to mend the whole seat again for 300 bucks, and the shop owner keep saying this is fake leather and will break easily.

I bought sturdy canvas seat covers online for mine somewhere years ago, and they have held up very well.

I take them off and wash them about once a year, in between vacuum and spot clean as needed.

I can’t remember where I got them, and my Interstate is in storage, but googling seat covers for sprinter vans will get you there.

I wonder how much driver weight has to do with it. At 9 years and 98,000 miles and a 180# driver 95% of the time (less # the other 5%) I can just barely see the beginning of separation near the door on the seam half-way back. And the good news is that its been that way for years and tens of thousands of miles.

My driver’s seat is starting to lose leather. Mercedes tells me that I can replace seat parts, as in getting a new seat cushion.

Carhart Seat Covers - cover craft they have worked well to protect our leather on the SuperDuty. Heated and Cooled seats still work so they breath. More you sit in them the more comfortable they get

Head over to your Mercedes dealer and order a pair of Sprinter seat covers. They fit perfectly and lasted me around 100,000 miles.

Yes, after looking around the net, I’ve seen some decent looking Carhart ones - thx.

Thanks Lew. I didn’t even consider Mercedes as an option but makes a lot of sense.
