Not sure about your model but there are some excellent you tube videos on door adjustment in general

General FYI... FitRV posted an Insta yesterday about their new screen system, which replaces their conventional OEM, which wasn't working properly. I see nothing on their website yet, but I expect a full description of the product and their testing.

It is a horrible design. I tried to adjust mine and it is a nightmare. They had screwed it in wrong making it even harder to get right. Took it to service and they did a reasonable job fixing it. That is what I suggest you do: make it their problem.

That said, it is fantastic to have it. We have our dogs with us and we can close the screen and they love to watch outside while we get fresh air.

Here's a link to TheFitRV.com screen description and video that InterBlog referred to above: https://www.thefitrv.com/rv-tips/the...-a-camper-van/. Looks very interesting. Article includes a link to the company that manufactures them:

Quote:
First, go to http://rvcustomscreen.com. That will actually redirect you to rolef.ca, which is them. Now that they have a working pattern for a Travato, they can sell more of them, so fill out the contact form and they’ll get back to you. As I write this, the Travato G doors are not on the website yet, but they can make them. I imagine our screen door would also work for other Class B ProMaster conversions where you need to enter and exit through the rear of the sliding door opening. Beyond the Travato, they make the same style of screen for various Sprinters, Transits, old-school vans, you name it. They seem to have a pretty good library of templates.
Have not yet had a chance to see if any products are specific for my 2006 T1N...

Yes, they offer the product for 2003-2006 Sprinters (on this page).

This looks very promising, and I might decide to treat us to one of them for our slider. The "mechanism" on their screen works like a more sophisticated version of the neodymium magnet closure that I made for our awning surround (pic below, but the central seam is difficult to see there; also this blog post). That danged thing was one of the most time-consuming projects of my life, though, and I don't always want to deploy the whole kit and caboodle. A slider screen would be nice to have for shorter lay-overs, like a one-night stop.

Judy,
I'm sorry. We totally hijacked your thread about your sliding screen door.

Did you ever get a fix for it?
