Screeching Fusion
Well after my nice uneventful trip, I brought her home, cleaned her. While plugged in at home, with everything off, went inside and smelled plastic burning smell. No smoke. Unplugged, searched, could find no source. Turned on engine, shrill noise appears to be coming from dash or fusion. Fusion is on, screeching continues even with screen off. Popped hood...it is not coming from engine. Occurs even with main red switch cut off at door. Only turns off when engine turned off. I just cancelled Jackson appt. For December because I thought everything was good. Anyone have any ideas? I do have B service scheduled tomorrow at Mercedes but I don't think they will touch fusion.

Sorry to hear about your problem. Makes me glad I have a bank of old-fashioned on/off switches to control all lights and functions.
