Restoration of Sun Damaged Windshield Guard

The windshield guard on this Interstate had pretty severe sun damage, I believe from its prior life in Arizona, and my self efforts to restore it were not effective.

I chronicled these in the thread below, but felt a new and more appropriately titled one might be helpful for a felllow owner with a similar problem.

I’m pleased with the results, we’ll see how it holds up over time.

Thanks guys, I am very pleased with it.

As the young man said when I picked it up this morning...”getting up there was the hardest part.”

Yep, and that’s why we sometimes pay people to do things for us.

Especially when we’re all getting older and more brittle...
